Root Canal Treatment
It is the process of removing the pulp tissue, which consists of blood vessels and nerves that give vitality to the tooth, from inside the tooth as a result of irreversible infection.
After removal of the infected pulp tissue, the canals are irrigated with sodium hypochlorite and filled with root canal sealers.
The initial cause of infection is usually advanced decay. Symptoms include sensitivity to hot and cold, throbbing, and severe pain in the teeth.
